Workshops August 19, 2011
Thank you for your support for the past years. For this year, I’m temporary suspending my customised and pre-organised workshops as I will be spending more time with my eldest son to prepare him for his PSLE.
New workshops should commence next year, 2012. Do look out for it. Meanwhile, if there is any skills or techniques that you would like to learn that is not listed in my workshops, feel free to drop me an email [thepalatable(at)gmail(dot)com]. I will consider adding them to my new workshops if there are collective demands. Thank you!

Customised Chocolate Cake Workshop February 27, 2011
A customised chocolate workshop was requested by a lady. She wanted to learn how to bake a cake, frost it, and decorate it for her son’s birthday. As it is, the workshop was arranged and organised it according to her request. The picture of the cake was also provided by her. She was very satisfied with the outcome, and she was able to replicate the whole cake at home, herself.

Perfect Pound Cake Workshop June 14, 2010
Traditionally pound cake refers to a type of cake made with a pound of each of four ingredients: flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. However, the quantity of the ingredients are often changed to suit the sweetness that is desired. Course Programme:

Roses Decoration Workshop June 14, 2010

Fully hands-on learning the following:
1. Fondant Roses
2. Royal Icing Roses 
3. Modelling Chocolate Roses
Includes demonstration of:
1. Daisy using Royal Icing;
2. Fondant flowers using flower cutters
What you’ll acquire:
1. Your knowledge of making edible model roses.
2. Your roses, including all the spares that you are left with from the fondant or modelling chocolate paste.
3. Pipping nozzle and piping nail that you used in the workshop.
4. Simple recipes.
Rose tea will be served during the workshop.
